Fire Safety (Level 3)

Learners explore the concept of combustion and create a fire safety handbook for their school and its students, including evacuation plans and a fire extinguisher.

Leading question:

What should we do if there is a fire at home or at school?

Learners will learn about why biodiversity matters and how humans affect it. They will look into the causes and solutions of water and air pollution, make a tool to reduce pollution in their area and run a campaign to raise awareness about protecting biodiversity and reducing pollution

Leading Question:

How can we encourage our community to protect the environment?

Why All the Plastic (Level 3)

Learners will plan a campaign to spread awareness about how to reduce, reuse, and recycle plastic. To do this, they will generate solutions using concepts such as the properties of plastics, changes materials undergo over time, and the impact of plastics on the environment.

LEADING QUESTION:

What makes plastic special and dangerous at the same time?

A Game of Football (Level 3)

Learners will improve their performance in the game of football! They will learn the concepts of body movements in humans, distance, and motion and measurement to understand the science behind a game of football. Then, they will work strategically using these concepts to improve their performance!

Can science help us better our game at sports?
