Learners will create ID cards by interviewing family members to foster connectedness and improve vocabulary and writing skills. They will discover their family history through a family tree project and design an imaginary country with a study booklet and citizenship test. They will express community messages through street art, record and modernize folk stories and songs from elders, and explore career choices and traditional occupations in Qatar, creating a career journal to consider future possibilities

Making ID Cards for Your Family (Level 2)
The learner will interview and make ID cards for each member of the family to foster connectedness and learn about differences and similarities, in addition to Arabic vocabulary and practice their writing skills!
Make My Own Country (Level 2)
Learners will design their own country focusing on the geographical features and cultural features. They will then design and conduct a citizenship text for their first citizen!
Grandmothers’s Tale (Level 2)
Learners will record folk stories and songs that are part of their heritage and culture from the elders in the families. Learners will get a chance to retell this story after modernizing it into a book or an oral story.
Mihnati (My Career) (Level 2)
In this project, learners will explore how career choices are made, and will learn about traditional occupations in Qatar. They will also create a career journal to help them think about possible careers in the future!
If Walls Could Speak (Level 2)
In this project, learners imagine that they are street artists and will draw a scene/character/event/message that is meaningful for their community.
